Yes muskys advise is good for sure, I would recommend downloading a firewall as well like zone alarm or a anti virus like AVG all these can be downloaded from www.downloads.com for free. One more thing, there is a few really good online virus scans you can use for free as well like Panda scan and housecall scan by Micro trend i think. well heres the link for the panda software i use often www.pandasoftware.comIts very important to run different virus scans because not every virus scan will pick up the same viruses some may by pass one the other one did not detect etc. you will be surprised how much better your PC will work after using these products. If you do down load avg and adware and zonealarm remember to always check for updates. What do they do these updates? They are new files for your anti virus programs to detect new viruses. kinda like a newspaper telling your PC what to look out for. Hope this helps

Fishing By Moon Phase: Increase Your Catch by: David Rose
Every fisherman dreams of a bigger catch! Is it possible to know beforehand when you should plan a trip to enjoy some fishing, catch more than usual, and come home feeling 100% satisfied? Based on my own personal research around the best fishing times, I think it is.
When I first started fishing, the best fishing time for me was whatever time happened to suit me. I tried different lures, baits and techniques until I'd spent a small fortune in my quest to improve my fishing catch. When I finally heard about the "Solunar Theory"--or fishing by moon phase--like most anglers, I was skeptical.
What I'd read sounded too complicated. All sorts of factors needed to be checked and the determined angler needed to be at the water's edge at exactly the right time, TO THE MINUTE, in order to improve on his average catch. Was I really willing to take my hobby that seriously? Let's just say that curiosity got the better of me.
To help me determine whether there was any truth in the moon's effect on the best fishing times, I kept a record of every trip I made over a period of 18 months. All information related to the moon's phases, the weather conditions and the catches I made were carefully logged. What I discovered convinced me that moon phase fishing works. BUT, I also found that it isn't anywhere near as complicated as many would have us believe.
How Does Fishing By Moon Phase Work?
Every fisherman knows that the best fishing times are when the fish are feeding. This tends to be during dawn and dusk, but what often goes unnoticed are the two periods elsewhere in the day--moonrise and moonset. Because the moon has an effect on a variety of factors surrounding the fish--including the live fodder they hunt--these periods, combined with the moon's phase, are what trigger feeding.
By understanding this, and choosing times when sunrise/sunset and moonrise/moonset coincide with new or full moon phases, you'll increase you chance of a good fishing catch. Assuming there are fish in the area, of course.
Choosing The Best Fishing Times
There really is nothing complicated about this at all; it's just a matter of knowing ahead of time exactly when the sun and moon will rise and set. Fish are most active during 90-minute windows surrounding each of these four daily events; that's 45 minutes before and after these four daily points.
Fishing during these four periods will help increase your fishing catch, but if you plan wisely so as to ensure you're at the water's edge on the days of new or full moon, you can use these 'windows' to reel in a catch like you've never done before. If you have to choose between sunrise/set and moonrise/set, always go with the moon as the moon is the stronger influence.
Hunters have always known that fish and game are most active at dawn and dusk--sunrise and sunset--but their activity surrounding moonrise and moonset is less noticeable because these events are likely to occur without effecting any change in the perceived light. The rise and set of a new moon is invisible anyway, and overcast weather often hides the moon. Without prior knowledge of setting and rising times, two of the best fishing times will be missed every day!
Other Considerations
When planning your fishing by moon phase, there are certain other factors that should also be considered.
Weather - Severe weather changes have an impact on the way fish feed. When a storm's brewing, or just after one has passed, is a good time. If this happens while you're in place, you'll be in for a treat! However, if there's a cold front approaching, the fish are likely to move deeper into the water and become inactive.
Season - Most fish are more likely to bite willingly during seasonal transitions with the transition from winter to spring and summer to fall being the two best fishing times.
Now that you know that moon phase fishing really works, there's no reason why you shouldn't utilize this knowledge to increase your own fishing catch by being at the ready with your rod during the best fishing times available. It's easy and it works!
Good luck!

The diversity of tuna, marlin, swordfish and other ocean predators has dropped 50 per cent in the past 50 years, according to a new study.
Ecologists and oceanographers teamed up to build the first global map of hot spots for large predatory fish in the open ocean.
The recorded catch dropped 25 per cent in the Pacific and 50 per cent in the Atantic and Indian Oceans since 1952. "If someone puts a fishing line in the ocean now he will catch only half as many species as 50 years before," said study co-author Boris Worm of Dalhousie University in Halifax.
Unlike previous research, the new study in Friday's issue of the journal Science looks at the effects of climate and fishing on a global scale.
Environmental effects like El Nino affect fish populations in the short term, but overfishing is the main force driving declines in the variety of big fish, the authors conclude.
Five hot spots remain and should be protected, said Worm, who has presented the data to the United Nations. He hopes the body will act to slow the silent, hidden collapse of the world's largest ecosystem.
The areas are:
East of Florida. South of the Hawaiian Islands. Southeast Pacific, particularly north of Easter Island. East of Sri Lanka in the Indian Ocean. East of the Great Barrier Reef in Australia.
The hot spots are mostly in warm waters with enough oxygen to support the zooplankton and small fish that larger fish feed on, the researchers found.
In fact, tuna show the same diversity pattern as zooplankton, said Steven D'Hondt, a zooplankton researcher who published the only other global study of ocean diversity.
The data suggests diversity declined by about 50 per cent on average in the Atlantic and Indian Oceans, and 25 per cent on average in the Pacific.
FROM MAY 14, 2003: Big fish disappearing from oceans
Two years ago, Worm and co-author Ransom Myers of Dalhousie found a decline in the number of fish. They concluded the world's oceans have lost 90 per cent of predatory fish that flourished 50 years ago.
Both papers used data from Japanese longline catches, using massive nets with thousands of hooks stretched across the ocean to catch everything in their path. The data set spans from 1952 to 1999.
The research was funded by the Sloan Foundation, German Research Council, Pew Charitable Trust and the Natural Sciences and Engineering Council of Canada.

A fish with two mouths? It’s like something out of that episode of “The Simpsons,” where Bart catches a three-eyed fish named Blinky. Saturday, Clarence Olberding of Lincoln had a similar experience: He pulled a rainbow trout with two mouths out of Holmes Lake. Clarence Olberding caught this two-mouthed trout at Holmes Lake. (Courtesy Photo) “I reached down and grabbed it to take the hook out and that’s when I noticed that the hook was in the upper mouth and there was another jaw protruding out below,” the 57-year-old said. In his 40 years of fishing, Olberding has seen fish with missing fins — and a fish with one eye — but he’d never seen two mouths. Update: Fish headed to Harvard He yelled at a nearby fisherman to take a look. “The guy said: ‘I’ve seen a lot of strange things fishing but I’ve never seen anything like that.’” He wasn’t the only one. It was also a first for Don Gabelhouse, who heads the fisheries division of the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission. “It’s probably a genetic deformity,” he said. “I don’t think there’s anything wrong with it.” The trout, which weighed just under a pound, came from the Grove Trout Rearing Station near Royal in northeast Nebraska. Each year, the commission stocks about 140,000 trout in lakes across the state for fall and winter anglers. “Every now and then you are going to see some anomalies when you are dealing with that many fish,” said Steve Wilhelm, fish production manager. Genetic mutations in fish do occur in the wild, he said, but they’re more likely in captive populations, like a fish hatchery. The trout that ended up in Holmes Lake originally came from a Wyoming hatchery and arrived as fingerlings in Nebraska, Wilhelm said. He declined to name the Wyoming location. “They’ve been very good fish, normally,” he said, although there have been more recent incidents of deformities. Back at Holmes Lake, the trout’s second mouth did not appear to be functional. “It led to a blind hole or pouch,” Olberding said. At the urging of his wife Charrye, Olberding snapped photos and e-mailed them to his fishing buddies. He doesn’t plans to have the fish mounted. “I’m going to smoke it up and eat it.” A fish with two mouths? BY ALGIS J. LAUKAITIS / Lincoln Journal Star

My fishing Christmas list is getting bigger and longer as the days count down. As i look through Cabela's fishing catalog for 2006 and in the local fishing shops for next years fishing season. Dreams of bobbers and new fly rods dance in my head. ;D This year I'm not holding back I'm asking old Saint Nick for a underwater camera system and maybe a new Jiffy auger or 10 man ice hut and to pull it a brand spanking new Toyota Tundra truck. Oh yes i will refuse socks or underwear for this Christmas unless they are the new thermal or battery operated of course. ;D
So whats on your list?

I went to Wallmart the other day and managed to make my way to the fishing section. And found really good deals on rapalas, 2 bucks a pop.So naturally i bought em not cause i needed them just cause they were cheap ;D and its something about those rapalas i just like looking at maybe its the craftmanship. i wish Canadian tire would have deals like that. You know you cant beat the deals at wallmart but Canadian tire has some good fishing gear to and not a bad selection. I allways buy from both stores for my fishing gear no need to favour only one store ;D well thats my rant later

All i can say is i hope they can make it through it ok. ITs a really terrible thing to happen and makes me think of all familys affected by it and sadness sets in. Its been a bad year in history all over the world and feel and hope Mr. bush will do his best to take action to help with all his power. Spending money in home country instead of causeing abunch of wars and wasteing it in other places., Take care of home land first in case of times like these... All i care is that all is done for those who need a huge amount help.

Hi Sage i tried a few epoxies that work but some how in my experience are a Lil more flexible.
I hope this helps theres a two component epoxy i like using. Its should be @ your general hard ware store it looks kinda like a syringe with two tubes, so when you squeeze it the hardener and epoxy mix properly. And the other one i heard alot about is a product by foxy epoxy, My advise would be to look through Cabelas catalogs or maybe the Store called the Fishing hole they must have something. Hope this helps.
