Just wondering at what age did all of you started ice fishing?
I started ice fishing when i was 7 with my father for walleye ..
I would never forget it,, been hooked on it ever since,
I remember seeing the tip up flag snap up in the distance..
And then the excitement of pulling up the 5 pound walleye on the
end of the tip up line was unforgetable.

Yeah the Canadian tire fishing section is really good here in Alberta. Nice site you have here. But its sad to see the Hudson Bay is up from grabs.

Nice fish there Lakers!! I have found the lake trout really like those Len thomsons lady bug Spoons. Some times i find a solid color works well to like straight silver or brass depending on the light conditions.

When fishing for perch i always start off with using worms as soon as i find a school i change over to a a rocker jig and half minnow ,, You seem to increase your odds of catching bigger perch including that big pike or walleye swimming close by. ALBERTA MOOSES NEVER FAIL PERCH METHOD. <-----Me trade mark ha
