So they like the deep water hmm do you ever find them in shallow water? like weed beds and small bays? oh ya can you catch them in the rivers there? I've seen a lot of them in 3 ft. of water, but they seem to hit better in the 7-12 ft. range. Yes, they are in the Mohawk River just 1/2 a mile from where I live. Big as gators too.

Slow flat-line trolling a Rapala Husky Jerk, Blue & Silver. I caught most of them in 7-12 ft. of water near a deep (25 ft.) drop-off.

I saw that one before. It wasn't caught with rod & reel. I think he caught it noodling if I'm not mistaken.

Here's a brown (20 in.) I got on 04/16/05 on Lake Ontario. How come the trout are getting smaller and I'm getting bigger? PS: caught on a blue/silver Rapella (with baked beans on the treble hooks .)

My one and only Great Lake Brown Trout 27 7/8 inches caught in 1987 on a green artificial egg. That was my first time fishing for brownies on the Salmon River & I haven't been back since. I'm going to try Lake Ontario in 2 weeks. Hopefully I'll have something to post.

Ya gotta check out this link and read more about the huge walleye click on the text below nipawinjournal.com/story.php?id=136932Still smiling Father Mariusz Zajak proudly displays his 18.30 pound walleye he landed while ice fishing on Tobin Lake, near the Resort Village of Tobin Lake, on Tuesday afternoon Jan. 4, 2005. The Roman Catholic priest now has legitimate bragging rights to the provincial record for walleye.

Hey Guys, Thanks a lot for all the HB wishes. I had a heck of a nice time on my B/Day and am still partying. Things have been a bit hectic lately as the reason for not stopping in here as often. Hopefully it'll slow down a bit now. I went out and bought myself a new used Ford F150 4x4 for my birthday and now I have to figure out how to pay for it. It's a 2003 but has only 26,000 mi. on it. I'm ready for the snow now. I've been doing some walleye fishing using waders for the first time on Oneida Lake. What a blast. They haven't been running very big (16-22 inches) but what a great meal they make. When I stop fishing for them, I'll probably do some steelhead fishing through the winter to hold me till I can get the boat back in the water in April. Thanks again & I hope to meet you guys on the water some day. ;D

Hey metal i heard you maybe not bad with computers can you help me? My computer is acting up it takes for ever to search a web page and sometimes i get sent to a totally different site. Help metal And nice site you have here by the way. Any one out there help!!! Go Here: www.sgtgeek.com/antispyware.htm & download Ad-Aware and Spybot S&D Very simple programs to clean up the junk on your hard drive. Run Ad-Aware first, then Spybot S&D. Tick anything in red for removal, & leave the rest if you don't know what they are. It sounds like you've got a browser hijack. After you are done with that, Aw heck just go to www.sgtgeek.com and click on the forum section. There are a lot of great folks there who can guide you further. One more program I would also suggest is CCleaner set it to run at start-up. Hope this helps, then come on back & we can talk about fishing. ;D

Well some friends and I are planning a fly-in trip to Biscotosi Lake in Ontario Prov. in the summer of 2007. It is located about a half hour to 40 min. flight from Sudbury, Ont. We will be flying out of Sudbury Aviation. I know it is still quite a ways off, but I thought I would ask if anyone here has ever fished this lake before. We have flown with Sudbury on two previous years to Scotia Lake and Indian Lake. Both are about the same distance as Biscotosi. If anyone has any info on this lake, I'd really appreciate it. We're mainly interested in fishing for walleye and northern pike. Here's the link: www.pvisuals.com/fishing/ontario/sudbury/sudbury.html

Hey ProBass, I agree with you on the natural bait for walleye. Either fishing ice or open water it seems to do the best job for me. Worms or minnows are another question.

Welcome to the site android17. I'm glad to hear from the young members and their fishing stories. What do you like to fish for in the UK?
