Hi Lunkertime heres my advise about buying a boat and motor, ok well first for example you have to ask yourself am i going to be fishing lots or just boating? If your reasons are for fishing then i would look at maybe a bass style boat with a flat carpeted BOTTOM with lots of Storage compartments for storing rods reels and tackle hell it might as well have a live well with it too . I know there is lot out there to choose from but i heard Lund,Skeeterboats,Ranger are very good quality boats as for the out board motors i would seriously look into the Honda four-stroke outboards " Honda as a ATV and boat motor company have proved themselves to me time and time again in the reliability dept never mind in the auto dept too. Not just That [glow=red,2,300]Honda is dedicated to keep the lakes clean [/glow][glow=red,2,300]with the polution technologies that are on those fourstroke motors. Heres what buying a honda outboard means Great gas mileage = more fishing Reliabilty = more fishing Less pollution in the Water = Better and cleaner lake The fish popuations do better = BIGGER FIsh To Catch!!![/glow] . And to me that sells the engine in it self. Hope this helps with your decision.
