Ya gotta check out this link and read more about the huge walleye click on the text below nipawinjournal.com/story.php?id=136932Still smiling Father Mariusz Zajak proudly displays his 18.30 pound walleye he landed while ice fishing on Tobin Lake, near the Resort Village of Tobin Lake, on Tuesday afternoon Jan. 4, 2005. The Roman Catholic priest now has legitimate bragging rights to the provincial record for walleye.

Those are some nice looking Eyse!!!! Anybody done any fishing for eyes at Red Lake, Ont.? I'm going there in July and we'll definitely fishing for eyes. If you've been there I could use a few tips as this is our first time up there. Thanks, Pencilman

Hey pencilman
I have fished that lake a few times being located in Ont, i would use minnows and a normal jig head thats what i have had luck on. Just bounce it of the bottom lightly and once and while let it sit and you will feel the walleyes lightly bite it. But sometimes they hammer it fast so be ready.

Thanks Barry. We'll be staying at the west end at Bow Narrows Camp, any good spots on that end? We were thinking about trying Gullrock Lake, but settled on Red Lake. Know anything about Gullrock?

You know i have fished the westend narrows and thats a good spot to but the walleye move around at different spots and seasons// weather conditions. In search of bait fish and perch. I find the best thing to do is like i said use the minnow and jig heads technique but troll very slowly. Really slow just barely moveing is the key and as soon as you land into a fish. Anchor down untill you know whats on the end of the line. If its not a walleye then keep trolling till you hook into one. And if you find a rocky self or bottom chance are your into the walleye. Once your in the walleye pocket its non stop action for about 2 hrs.
As for the other lake cant say i have been there maybe its called something else

Great advise Barry and hello there pencil. I think i will make a thread about trolling for Walleye. Because you know thats how i find them when im new to lake. And of course the fish finder helps to.
Very good advise.
