Went to the Local Dam and tryed my hand for few Rockies... It was a realy good time landing into few slab rockies i used a thill bobber and a pinch weight and night crawler combo. So i rigged up the bobber about a 1.5 feet up from the hook and the pinch weight was placed about 2 inches up from the size #4 eagle claw hook.. ,. heres the first slab rockbass/rockie taken on the bobber...

Well BB i used 6 pound test and the lightest rod i had to make these lil rockers bend the pole.., You know it seems every time i try targeting rockbass i land into something i cant land ! Yeppers proud to say i have Been spooled many times at this spot by something im guess a big ol Carp, so next time i think i might up my choice of line to 8 pound stren or so... What ever it is wont get away next time.. I sure am a devoted stren fanatic,, Oh yes BB wheres your biggest rockie???

My biggest rocky is still swimming around some where. My brother caught one last year that measured 11 inches. I'm sure it's the biggest I've seen caught. I think I have a picture around. I'll have to see if I can find it. The ones I usually catch are around 6 to 8 inches. I'll take some pictuires next time I land a few.
