I was fishing for sm/bass with the fly rod it was working really well. But i found it a lil hard to catch the ones that i never hooked. The ones that had followed up the fly and came in closer to me and stayed around. Then i had to cast again but it seemed senseless to cast way out with beautifull long and timed casts when the fish were only a rod length away. So i had a idea why not take off my fly reel and add on my spare spincast reel. for the hell of it i tryed it. and you know now i think i may have stumbled on to something i think i may have the ultimate balanced plus sensitve rod i have ever used. It looks Radical i know its not fly fishing by no means but i get the same amplyfied fight as a fly fishermen plus some serious casting posibilitys and drag settings. wow i really like it. Im gonna have to try it with bait for walleyes. I guess i should name my technique "Spinnfly" and patent it What do you all think?
