June 23 Made a quick trip out to williams lake today hot as hell in the house so i figgured wadeing out in the lake for a while casting my new fly rod would be a great way to cool down managed to land 3 nice smallies and a wack of perch on a wooley bugger of course.released em all, what a good fight those smallies put up on the 6 wt . I really hope they dont go changeing the limit and regs so it wouldnt be a catch and release lake its point less keeping them in my opinion.

Fished William today mid afternoon, Small Mouth Bass & perch are still active and biting well no sign of the brown trout though talked to one fellow in a canoe. He said he had a nice brown on in the deep part of the lake trolling a rapala..,
What i Noticed was the smallies were surfacing more than normal i wish i would have been they abit earlier in the calm early morning hours, I would have tryed the flyrod and few frog poppers i have tyed
up. Oh well another time.
