Ice fishing in Canada
Well its fall and winter is on its way. The feeling of the cold air sparks the ice-fisherman in me and cant wait for the upcoming ice fishing season to start in Canada. The long winter days and nights are perfect times for ice fishing. It can be fun and a great family outing. OK to be a successful ice fisherman you have a ice shanty or better yet make one that will keep you warm as you fish on your favorite frozen lake or pond. Once that is created or bought your on your way. Their is not a better feeling in the world of pulling up a 10-20 pound northern pike through the ice by hand. It may sound easy but you have to out smart and fight the fish quickly or it is sure to get away. It takes time to master the art of getting the ice fishing. But hey winter is long and living in Canada we have some of the best lakes for the sport. So see you out there and remember the worse that could happen is you might slip in your hole and get a boot full of ice.
