Im planning going after walleye for my first ice trip,, as soon as i
can well when the ice gets thick enough of course
or when my wifes lets me out on a day pass to do a lil fishin ..!
What in your advise would be the best lures to bring for walleyes in
the early part of the ice season?

Well Alberta i would take a wide selection of lures with me...
Everything from jigs,Spoons to pickerel rigs ...
And remember dont forget the bait!!
Bait for walleye ice fishing i would say is probley the most important tip..
Worms leeches or minnows i will think about this a lil more and post more later thanks for the question ,,

BAIT IS THE WAY TO GO ALBERTAMOOSE !!! MY CHOICE IS LIVE FATHEAd MINNOWS no split shot small bobber and let it sit... YOU will catchem wont be able to stop reeling em in!!!!
Walleye love the live fathead minnows!!
