: When your fishing for carp you should take a pretty heavy sinker and put it 12inches up the string from your hook. When you go to tie a knot tie a Texas knot so the hook will not break off when it gets hit by a fish. The bait I use is night crawlers now what you do is pour some vanilla extract on your worms let it soak in for a minute or two then you take a worm and put it on a hook but when you put a worm on leave some of it off the hook so when you throw it in the water it will wiggle under water then after your all ready cast your pole out as far as you can then real some line in until it is tight then about every 5-10 minutes real some line in and I guarentee you will catch some fish! ]
