MONSTER PIKE, at Leslie Beach on Fishing Lake, just north
of Foam Lake, SK,It was caught on a perch rod with a yellow jig and a piece of smelt tail, He was using 8lb test and fought it for 10- 15 mins.
They took it to the local Co-op but the scale would only go to 35 and cut out ,so 22 hours later
He took it to the Shop Easy and it weighed 39.3lbs,
He can't help but think the live weight was 41 -42 lbs but it dried all out in the back of his truck before he got it weighed.
