I just got posted to Winnipeg 3 weeks ago, picked up my fishing license and went out for the first time today on the Assiniboine River.
Was a little different than lake fishing with the current and all, tried many different methods without much luck other than hidden debris snagging my lines and costing me 3 lures.
Anyways if your ever going out and looking for someone to tag a long; maybe someone to learn a few things from ya then give me a shout.
I don't really know anyone in the city so defiantly looking to get out and matter have someone to talk to besides myself while fishing.
