Hi jimmy the spincast combo you have will work fine i would bring along the following a pickerel rig or two a few small spinners in different colors.. some worms grubs meals worms but heres what i would use i would get a small bobber and a small j hook bait it up wth worms or meal worms thats all you should need,,make sure to have about 3 to 4 feet of line under your bobber .. So you bait is suspended in the water colum .. i would stay away from the Corn cause the trout will just die if they eat it so its not healthy for your pond trout population ,, BEST OF LUCK SOON ENOUGH YOU Will be having a nice trout fry..

Super Advice Lunker however you forgot a thing or too i would bring along a a few small flat fish/l lazy ike lures in small sizes, And a assortment of fly's just in case.. Also sometimes a row sack with some fresh trout eggs will work wonders, more to be used on the hard water for the row sacks or early spring.. Best of luck Jimmy!
