Well i had the pleasure of fishing the Lake of the prairies ice derby which was held on the yesterday Saturday 23 2013
Prizes were
First prize is $10,000 cash for the biggest fish ,
a 80 plus cm Pike won it !
over 100 fish caught!
Plus $20,000 in cash prizes up for grabs.
they ALSO HAD the “Winner’s Choice” raffle, for the chance to win your choice of a Yamaha Rhino, a Lund boat with motor and trailer, a Yamaha Nytro or $10,000 cash. Tickets for the raffle are $20 each.
The ice was groomed best as they could and the holes are predrilled.
and Lots of door prizes..
OK Had a blast even though i never took any prizes home or had any bites
But still a very well organized event
and looking foward to doing it again next year!
