Ok about fishing Quebec i have heard the Walleye action that month is hot Its one of the best areas to land into some trophy walleyes and smallies.
Almost anywhere you find fish in Canada will show you how fishing is suspose to be.
I will do a bit of hunting on the Qubec hot spots and post it for you.

You cant retrieve the answer your looking for? I would say if your after small mouth bass i would try to plan a trip more in the middle of summer more , hot weather seems to activate the smallies a bit better around my area anyways. I have a few good spots around my area if your interested not to mention Big Catfish aswell. Drop me a line if your interested.

Grassman as far as the smallies go those guys are right. Down here in NY they start hitting pretty good mid June thru mid September. Also May is pretty good around here for walleyes. ;D ;D ;D
