Hey jigger i think if you look around or type in Carp recipes in the search feature on this site you might find a few posted in the archives but if i find anymore i will post the links for you. Those Carp sure can be fickle sometimes. Later dude

Hey jigger I use a corn meal base dough that my father showed me how to make when I was a guppy. It goes as followes: 1 portion of white flower to 2 portions of cornmeal. warm water and make a dough ball. Add more flower if you feel it's needed. Also add molasis or maple syrupe. You want it to be the same texture as play dough. then make a little ball (Quarter size) stick it on a hook and cast it on the bottom and wait. The most important thing to do is to throw some out for chum.

Carp baits i use are similar i would do the same recipe as the one posted above but add a egg then get a pot and boil a few to make the english version of carp bait called boilies. They stay on the hook a lil better but you dont want to over boil them either or you might lose the flavor or sent. After they have been bolied approx 60 secs lay them out on a towel for a few hours to dry and then put them into a plastic container with a lil vegitable oil to keep em fresh. Sometimes i put a batch in the freezer for a later Carp fishing trip. So jigger search Carp boilies, you will find quite abit of info on them if your interested.
